Ultimate Survival Technologies, manufacturer of high-end survival tools, has launched a new retail packaging scheme. The blister packaging, in eye-catching kiwi green and safety orange, started hitting retail stores at the end of December.
“This packaging really pops and will get your attention”, said Nancie Weston, Director of Commercial Sales. “Customers will be drawn to our unique color scheme and we are very excited about this launch.
The blister packaging is made of PETE and cardstock and is recyclable. In efforts to encourage the recycling effort, UST is including a “recycle me” sticker on every blister package.
UST has also launched some new products for 2008. The new Aqua Survival Kit™ contains the same trusted components as UST’s original Deluxe Survival Kit™, but in a watertight bag that is more compact and can be used to carry water. UST also launched a new and improved signal mirror, the
StarFlash® Ultra™, that is 50% more reflective than the original version and features a scratch proof coating. The Ultra™ is targetable, unbreakable, and it floats. Another exciting offering is the new translucent orange BlastMatch™ fire starter.
Ultimate Survival Technologies purchased the rights and assets of the former Survival Inc. in 2007 and has been in operation for just under a year. Their product line includes many innovative and patented tools, including the
